Who is behind this so-named "Affiliate Dinner"?
The indubitable Brook Schaaf, of "affiliate management" fame, is the conceptual force behind Affiliate Dinner. But just as Wonderboy needed a side-kick, Brook is the side-kick of his older brother, Forrest Schaaf, who also happened to compose this FAQ.

Why would you eat dinner with other people in "affiliate marketing"?
That we may live.

Seriously, what is this, some kind of Ponzi scheme?
No, at least not any more than affiliate marketing in general. This is just a chance for people in the industry to get together and network. Please see the About page.

Can anyone plan or sponsor an affiliate dinner ANYWHERE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD?!?
Yes! Send us an email and we can help you plan it and list it on this web page. We don't guarantee our manifest presence, but we'll try. The main thing is to be sure to tell people when they need to RSVP by in order to make any necessary reservations.

But who's going to pay for all this dinner ?
Usually, the participants pay their own way. However, subsidizing or sponsoring a dinner is a great way to get exposure to all the movers and shakers out there. (wink, wink) If the planner of a dinner makes a financial commitment to a restaurant for a minimum number of diners, then they are definitely obligated to explain such commitments and deadlines as they apply to participants.

Who will vouch for this thing?

Malcom Cowley of Buy.at wrote "buy.at have found the Affiliate Dinner’s we have attended so to be a perfect mix of business and social networking. We have attended 3 Affiliate Dinners so far in locations ranging from Vegas to London to Miami. We have found each one extremely valuable in terms of new contacts and also establishing ourselves as an international player within the affiliate marketing space.

Brook and Team have done a great job in giving affiliate marketers from all over the globe a reason to drag themselves away from the pc for a night and build profitable relationships in a real world setting. "

Eventually, we hope to get a testimonial from an American as well. Not that we don't like our man Malcom from Manchester.

Can I bring my spouse or someone not affiliated with affilite marketing?
Of course, BUT ONLY if you are not worried that they might be seduced away by the smoothly suave likes of Shmuly or other debonair members of the community.

What languages do you guys speak?
Brook speaks English and German. Forrest speaks Java, C, PHP, various dialects of SQL, and many other exotic and boring "languages".

Why?
Shh! Too many questions for now.
